Daylight saving time ends on earliest possible day this year: When does the time change?

Daylight Saving Time begins on the second Sunday in March and ends the first Sunday of November. Changing clocks means we “spring forward” (losing an hour) when DST begins in the spring and then “fall back” when it ends.

While the future of daylight saving time is in the hands of Congress, there’s little doubt we will change our clocks to “fall back” one hour on Nov. 1.
