AKRON, Ohio — An Akron woman is facing multiple charges in connection with a crash last month that killed a pedestrian and injured one other person.
Monique Martin-Lateef, 45, is charged with nine counts, including two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and two counts of aggravated vehicular assault, according to the Akron Police Department. She also faces charges for refusing an OVI test, having an open container, reckless operation, speeding and not wearing a seat belt.
