The investigation found that the incident resulted from a chain of errors in how the visit was planned and managed. Female employees were moved away from certain areas, triggering protests and a one-day closure of the Eiffel Tower. BAPS had denied requesting gender-based exclusion and said the arrangements were made for logistical reasons.
