HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – A Huntersville woman has died days after police say she was strangled by her husband. 66-year-old Cody Porter, Junior is charged with second degree murder. Police found his wife, 65-year-old Sandra Porter, unresponsive inside their home on McGinnis Lane on September 22nd.
They determined Cody had allegedly strangled her. He was initially charged with assault and domestic violence. The charges were upgraded to murder after Sandra Porter died at the hospital last Thursday.
