At Stark Parks, they hope to replace all 12 bridges along the Sippo Valley Trail between Dalton and Massillon by 2033.
There’s one bridge replacement set for early next year.
the contract has been let on that bridge, but the truss is being put together at this time.
The prefabricated bridge will be dropped where the old one is taken out, with new approaches built.
Stark Parks Executive Director Dan Moeglin says they hope to replace at least one bridge each season.

The Sippo Valley Trail runs along one of the abandoned sections of the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway and is ten miles long.
