A very pleasant start to the workweek is ahead across central Indiana. Some patchy fog may be around very early, especially outside the Indianapolis metro, but that should disappear quickly after sunrise. Expect plenty of sunshine through the rest of the day with highs reaching the middle 70s. North to northeast winds remain light around 5 mph. If you have outdoor plans, there really is not much weather getting in the way.

Mostly clear and cool with temperatures falling into the lower 50s. Winds become nearly calm, allowing another round of patchy fog to develop toward Tuesday morning in a few locations. Otherwise, it stays completely quiet.
Any early fog burns away quickly and sunshine takes over again. Temperatures edge upward with highs reaching the upper 70s. Winds stay very light, generally around 5 mph or less. Tuesday remains completely dry, and it should be another excellent early-fall day.
The night starts mostly clear before a few more clouds begin drifting in late. Lows fall into the upper 50s with light south to southeast winds around 5 mph. Rain is not expected.
We start to notice the pattern changing, but Wednesday itself still looks dry. Expect a mixture of sunshine and increasing clouds with highs climbing into the lower 80s. South winds increase slightly to around 5–10 mph. So even with more clouds around, Wednesday should remain a very usable day.
Clouds continue thickening as moisture returns from the south. Temperatures stay milder with lows only falling into the lower to middle 60s. South winds remain around 5 mph. Most of the night should stay dry, although the atmosphere will be setting the stage for a more unsettled Thursday.
The dry streak finally starts breaking down. Expect mostly cloudy skies with highs reaching the lower 80s. Showers and thunderstorms become possible during the afternoon as the next system moves toward central Indiana. South to southwest winds increase to around 5–10 mph. It probably will not rain all day, but this is the first day of the week where the radar becomes worth watching again. No organized severe-weather threat is apparent at this time.
Shower and thunderstorm chances increase during the evening and overnight as the system moves through. Lows fall into the lower 60s with winds gradually turning more northerly. This currently looks like one of the better opportunities for widespread rain during the week, although exact timing still has room to shift.

Monday through Wednesday stays sunny, dry and increasingly warm, with highs climbing from the middle 70s Monday into the lower 80s by Wednesday. Nights remain cool early in the week before becoming noticeably milder by Wednesday night. Showers and thunderstorms return Thursday and may continue into Friday as a stronger system moves through. Cooler air follows for Friday and the weekend, with highs potentially falling back into the upper 60s to lower 70s before temperatures begin recovering again later in the weekend.
